It depends heavily on diet type — vegetarian and eggetarian diets can hit 100 g/day for ₹40–70 using dal, eggs and soya; non-vegetarian diets using chicken run a bit higher; vegan is usually the most expensive per gram because whole-food vegan sources are less protein-dense.
